Switch to typing in a different language with the click of the mouse, and switch back just as easily. The Google Input Tools extension provides virtual keyboards for over 90 languages, full IMEs or direct transliteration for over 30 different scripts, and handwriting input for over 40 languages.
What's New?
✓ Malayalam now prioritize Arabic numerals as the default output when typing numbers. This change makes it easier to input numbers, as Malayalam numerals are not commonly used.
Usage Instructions:
When you first install the extension, click on the extension icon, then select "Extension Options" in the pop-up menu. A new tab will appear where you can select your preferred languages or input methods. The keyboards, IMEs or handwriting input you add to 'Selected input tools' can be enabled at any time from the extension itself. You can always return to this options page to add, remove, or change the order of your input tools.

Hey, revert short cut to ctrl+space. alt is kind of window key in Ubuntu, so doesn't work!!!!
No Shortcut available for Windows 10. :( have to switch on and off manually every 2 minutes.
It does not have Assamese language, when all the other Indian languages are there. Why this discrimination against Assamese language? Please add Assamese language and I will rate it 5 stars.

It was okay in the beginning. Now it has just crashed on my MacBook Pro (OS X 10.9.5 Build 13F1712).
Found a bug. In certain floating windows, this prevents typing input with Ubuntu 14.04 LTS up to date and Chrome Version 49.0.2623.112 (64-bit). For example, on my medical portal, asking for a refill brings up a form over the grayed out window. There is a text box- when you enter it, it gives ( )___-____. You can not type in numbers. If you hit escape, the guiding characters disappear, and you can type only one character upon which the guiding characters and your single one appear but no other one does. You can toggle this performance between expected and abnormal by switching the extension off and on. Happy to debug.
