Switch to typing in a different language with the click of the mouse, and switch back just as easily. The Google Input Tools extension provides virtual keyboards for over 90 languages, full IMEs or direct transliteration for over 30 different scripts, and handwriting input for over 40 languages.
What's New?
✓ Malayalam now prioritize Arabic numerals as the default output when typing numbers. This change makes it easier to input numbers, as Malayalam numerals are not commonly used.
Usage Instructions:
When you first install the extension, click on the extension icon, then select "Extension Options" in the pop-up menu. A new tab will appear where you can select your preferred languages or input methods. The keyboards, IMEs or handwriting input you add to 'Selected input tools' can be enabled at any time from the extension itself. You can always return to this options page to add, remove, or change the order of your input tools.

I think this extension is great for a lot of people! It does not, however, serve my needs. I am looking for an extension or app that will allow me to type in the International Phonetic Alphabet (IPA) without use of internet connection or requiring keeping the browser open . I have found time consuming work around's and ways of copying and pasting from an online keyboard into my document, but I feel so many actors, linguists and language students could be served much better if Chrome also had an IPA language option. Macs and Windows have some options, but none of those will, of course, work with Chrome OS. Thank you for doing all that you do! I would never dream of switching from Chrome OS just for this tiny exception. Someday hopefully the IPA language will be an option!
It works on all my computers: desktop, laptop and mac. I can wite blogs in kannada, edit other's work. Excellent.
There is a bug in Cantonese version. it is still typing chinese when the bar is showing english. it annoys me very much please fix it ASAP.

有很多网站不能使用，而且延迟较高，除了界面设计不错还真没有什么优点。
Does not work for Mãori
响应很快，但是，像在百度首页用不了，就是百度检测到关键词后会自动刷新，然后选择词语的框就不会出来了，但这时候，回车什么的还是有反应的。在本地调试项目时也是不出来，只能说还要完善
