Switch to typing in a different language with the click of the mouse, and switch back just as easily. The Google Input Tools extension provides virtual keyboards for over 90 languages, full IMEs or direct transliteration for over 30 different scripts, and handwriting input for over 40 languages.
What's New?
✓ Malayalam now prioritize Arabic numerals as the default output when typing numbers. This change makes it easier to input numbers, as Malayalam numerals are not commonly used.
Usage Instructions:
When you first install the extension, click on the extension icon, then select "Extension Options" in the pop-up menu. A new tab will appear where you can select your preferred languages or input methods. The keyboards, IMEs or handwriting input you add to 'Selected input tools' can be enabled at any time from the extension itself. You can always return to this options page to add, remove, or change the order of your input tools.

This is definitely one of the best extension for writing in Bengali but there is a serious drawback related to the cursor.It shifts anywhere anytime.It is not constant and does not depend upon the user to move. In fact it changes its place from anywhere to anywhere at anytime which is really very annoying. It creates a great ruckus and harassment. Plz fix the cursor issue asap.
Very disappointed with Amharic input. It gets stuck, backspace stops functioning while using Google Docs. I don't know, if Google"s own input tools doesn't work with Google Docs, where should we expect it to work? Offering glitchy products might affect Google's reputation gradually. So please help fix it. Thank you for the service.

This is the first time in my life I saw that a new version is much much worse than the previous one. It doesn't even write single character in Farsi.
old version is very better than us. pls update..

Umlauts don't work in Google Docs when smart quotes are enabled. Also, in Google Docs, I sometimes end up needed to reload after switching tabs because I am unable to type anything.
Great in theory, but for Hindi transliteration, it won't add spaces between words (after the second word or so). This means I have to go back and add spaces manually, which is very annoying. (I've used the tool in two devices, so I know it's a software issue). Until this is fixed, I'll just use the "Try it out" section on the website.
older version was far better.It had helped me to write malayalam easily.
