This is freaking amazing. So quick and easy to download. i think it took just 5sec. Now i can freely roam utube to change music etc. without having to risk getting distracted and go off track with shorts. removes the temptation

This is great, every service providing short form content should be obliged to offer an easy option to disable it because of the neurochemical ramifications that come with it. The most recent studies are even worse than anticipated... Just letting you know when watching a video, there are still shorts being recommended in the "watch next" list to the right of the screen. Would be great if that could be resolved as well. If you're on a public code hoster like GitHub/GitLab with this, I can create a PR myself. I'm talking about the ytd-reel-shelf-renderer inside the ytd-item-section-renderer.
Works as advertised. It even works on the youtube app. Worked immediatley with no fuss.
