I was getting so sick of youtube shorts and after seeing a incredibly gross video I googled if you can remove the shorts and got brought to this extension! It didn't even take a minute for it to get rid of the shorts! Now I can enjoy the app without wasting time scrolling after clicking on one short. Thank you so much!
not much to say it does its job, exceptionally well at that. no issues with speed from what i can tell.
This extension doesn't appear to filter shorts from the "channel page" search results. e.g., if you go to a specific YouTube channel, click the magnifying glass, and enter your query into the search bar, the results returned for that specific channel still includes YouTube Shorts.
THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU I have been addicted to these stupid little shorts- I find myself watching them and I really don't want to, they waste so much time and are totally useless, but Youtube is very effective at getting you to look at them. I absolutely needed something to just get them off my page but of course YouTube won't let you do that yourself.. thank you so so so so so so so much to the folks that made this.
