Product summary

Review the store description, core capabilities, and common use cases.

Prompt Privacy Shield helps detect and mask sensitive information before you send prompts to AI tools.

It is designed as a practical privacy layer for people who use AI assistants, chatbots, and web-based AI platforms in daily work or personal use.

The extension runs locally in your browser and helps identify common sensitive data patterns such as email addresses, phone numbers, IBANs, payment-related data, API keys, bank cards, crypto wallet addresses, and custom sensitive words defined by the user.

You can use it from the extension popup by pasting text, or by selecting text on a page and using the right-click menu option "Sanitize & Copy".

Prompt Privacy Shield is rule-based, lightweight, and focused on local privacy protection. It does not promise perfect detection, so users should always review sanitized output before sending sensitive content.

It works quite well. It supports different data types, and the fact that it works locally without collecting information is great. Thanks!
