This extension does not combat the next generation's use of technology. Instead, it forces them to adhere to their respective district/school's inadvertent rules, which do not relate to the students day-to-day life. In Title I schools, for example, the school provides the computer to the student, but, with a laundry list of blockers and extensions. With the rise of AI and modern technology, this directly harms the student, due to their inability to access said programs, forcing them to fall behind. Ultimately, students should have the freedom to browse the internet, otherwise the next generation of hard workers, will inevitably fall behind.
