So far works perfect for the videos on YouTube where the videos are uploaded without checking the audio volumes. Normally im able to do this with my Nvidia Drivers on my RTX cards but this works on my regular laptops. A lot of news channels have horrible audio thats sometimes on one side and not normalized at all. so this in conjunction with a mono extension works perfect to actually HEAR the video. i dont have issues with loud videos, just videos that are too quiet.

I REALLY wanted to like this extension! The volume differences on various YouTube videos was really bugging me, particularly in my playlists. So I tried installing this Normalize Volume extension. Unfortunately, I've found that instead of boosting the volume on quiet videos, it dampens down the sound of normal-volume videos. This seriously muddies the audio. At first, I thought there was something wrong with my speakers, to the point that I started researching reviews for better desktop speakers! Then I remembered I had this extension switched on. When I switched it off, the sound of the videos became clear again. For this unfortunate reason, I am uninstalling this extension.
