SponsorBlock lets you skip over sponsors, intros, outros, subscription reminders, and other annoying parts of YouTube videos. SponsorBlock is a crowdsourced browser extension that lets anyone submit the start and end times of sponsored segments and other segments of YouTube videos. Once one person submits this information, everyone else with this extension will skip right over the sponsored segment.

You can also skip over non music sections of music videos.

This is open source and the entire database is public.

I like this extension. It's pretty useful as most YouTubers I watch seem to be sponsored and I find sponsorships quite annoying as I am never interested in the product the YouTubers are trying to sell to me. Thank god for Sponsorblock

Works very well. Skips are community submitted so new or unpopular videos may not have skips yet.

One of the most essential addons for Youtube. I do have a suggestion to anyone reading this. With the removal of the dislike counter currently rolling out, it would be great if this was restored via this addon. Essentially, users will opt in to send their like/dislike data to Sponsorblock. The rest is obvious.

Really nice innovative thought. It helps people to report the sponsor spam by content creators. In-spite of this youtube is providing ads. Ad blocker plus and Sponsor block combo gives peace of mind of internet
