SponsorBlock lets you skip over sponsors, intros, outros, subscription reminders, and other annoying parts of YouTube videos. SponsorBlock is a crowdsourced browser extension that lets anyone submit the start and end times of sponsored segments and other segments of YouTube videos. Once one person submits this information, everyone else with this extension will skip right over the sponsored segment.
You can also skip over non music sections of music videos.
This is open source and the entire database is public.

Doesn't sound like it would work, but literally every video I've watched with a sponsorship has been skipped.
Fantastic! Automatically skips annoying sponsor and intro clips in videos.
This is by far one of the best inventions in the digital world, so simple yet so effective. I hope everyone hears about this and uses it, and I'm also promoting this extension also its Vanced plugin to everyone I know.. and I've also contributed so much to this, seeing that I saved 200 hours of people's lives is just crazy! (and 630 hours of mine). Thank you very much for this great life-saving tool!

Works excellently. YouTube ads are so aggressive and frequent that it makes it hard to watch anything. I know that content creators/YouTubers need the revenue to produce videos, but I prefer to "join" or send some bucks a month on Patreon especially if ads are in a video because it was de-monetized. Ridiculous to keep people from making a few bucks because the content doesn't fit with guidelines - free speech and a free market should be the way to go.
