SponsorBlock lets you skip over sponsors, intros, outros, subscription reminders, and other annoying parts of YouTube videos. SponsorBlock is a crowdsourced browser extension that lets anyone submit the start and end times of sponsored segments and other segments of YouTube videos. Once one person submits this information, everyone else with this extension will skip right over the sponsored segment.

You can also skip over non music sections of music videos.

This is open source and the entire database is public.

Ridiculously helpful for saving time. I'd honestly say it's helpful for relaxing, too. I've saved literally ~18 hours from autoskipping all segments thus far. (about 1500, if anyone's wondering) Usually I don't have to skip stuff myself which is great but when I do it's pretty simple to figure out, great settings/customizability as well. Thank you.

It's quickly becoming one of my favourite extensions. It saves time and a decent amount of videos are supported. Edit 2022: The servers haven't been working for 3 weeks now. I am shocked that this is broken for so long. What the hell are you doing?

Users can optionally submit new segments by marking start/end times, and vote on existing segments.
