SponsorBlock lets you skip over sponsors, intros, outros, subscription reminders, and other annoying parts of YouTube videos. SponsorBlock is a crowdsourced browser extension that lets anyone submit the start and end times of sponsored segments and other segments of YouTube videos. Once one person submits this information, everyone else with this extension will skip right over the sponsored segment.

You can also skip over non music sections of music videos.

This is open source and the entire database is public.

This extension is amazing. Unfortunately, it does not work with the new Youtube interface that seems to have come out within the last couple of months. Fix that and it's easily a 5 star extension.

на chrome работает идеально, но недавно перешел на samsung browser, и тут ютуб просто ломается при включении расширения, прошу починить!!!!!!!!!!!

On samsung internet youtube homepage, it hides all videos, but on the video itself, it works just fine. Works well in brave, chrome and Edge, maybe its a samsung internet issue, but it might be the extension

Install extension → it auto-generates an anonymous userID → extension automatically fetches known segments for any YouTube video from sponsor.ajay.app server → skips segments in real-time during playback. Users can optionally submit new segments by marking start/end times, and vote on existing segments.

Source JS files are minified/bundled, making exact line-by-line analysis harder, but key functions (generateUserID, onInstall handler) are clearly identifiable.
