Easy and simple. I like that I have a work vault and a personal vault, keeps my computer super organized.
RPass has been SOO helpful. It has saved me so much time and frustration by not having to remember my passwords or hit the Forgot Password a hundred times. Game changer!
I've found issues with using RPass from implementation to day-to-day use. The ability to generate a password is helpful and the Google extension being so accessible is nice however I'll explain the major reasons for the star rating. First, implementation was difficult as we encountered errors that weren't able to be explained by tech support. Second, when I need to copy both the username and password for a website, the extension closes after I click out of it which makes the process take longer. Third, the RPass interface in Rippling isn't easy to navigate. I wish, as a Super Admin the interface was built in a way sharing access to login credentials was the focus. Fourth, RPass doesn't always save your new password for an account, making logins inconsistent and incorrect. Fifth, setting up MFA codes is easy while sharing has been difficult. In general, to be 5 stars Rippling needs to invest in creating a better user interface for RPass within their HRIS, allow extension to stay open when copying username and password information and have implementation be easy to navigate when there are upload errors.
Honestly, not a bad password manager! I’ve been using Rippling’s Rpass to store and share passwords, as well as enable two-factor authentication. It’s easy to use, convenient, and makes saving credentials simple. I did run into a small issue where it didn’t scan a QR code, but Rippling’s support team was able to fix the problem within two weeks. Overall, I’m really happy with it!
RPass is great! Love the functionality of being able to save passwords and have RPass autofill them into sites for me. Support with RPass has been excellent as well. Would recommend.
Good and secure password management solution for teams. It allows great collaboration by making it easy to control who has access to shared credentials etc. Recommended.
On the plus side, RPass offers support for 2FA codes within the app, which is a great feature. Sharing credentials is also a very useful option. However, it does a very poor job of the basics like saving passwords and filling passwords. It doesn't auto-populate anything when you log into a new site, and the popup window is not persistent, meaning that if you switch to another tab to grab your username and come back, the popup window is closed. I have to copy my credentials to a text file and manually add them to RPass. Filling a password is just as bad, the app will almost never fill the correct password. In some cases even if you specifically click the 'open and fill' option, it opens the right link but fills a password for a totally different link. Trying to type in the username then finds nothing. This might be because the app struggles with different urls on the same domain (e.g. multiple Salesforce orgs that are all on salesforce.com but have different urls and credentials). Finally, you can't take an internal credential and make it shared, which means you have to decide up front if your credential may ever need to be shared.
Its working perfectly fine for me and our entire company is using the rpass
RPass is so helpful for my work! Having so many platforms that multiple people from my organization need access to, this allows us all to safely share and store passwords so that our information is protected AND we don't waste time having to ask our Ops team for passwords constantly.
