GCal Quick Task

Google Calendar's Q shortcut opens an Event by default. Every single time, you have to click over to "Task." This extension removes that extra click.

What it does:

Press Q on Google Calendar. The popup opens in Task mode. Your cursor is already in the title field. Start typing.

When you add a time to your task, the extension automatically switches your task list from "My Tasks" to "Scheduled."

That's it. Three small automations that save you a few clicks every time you create a task.
