So far this seems to work pretty well. My folder is green and easy to see, but like another reviewer, the name of the folder is in a very light gray text and hard to read. Fortunately when I hover the mouse over the text a black box appears behind it making it easy to read it all. A question though, it seems I can only move 2 conversations into a folder and there is no option in the conversation's 3 dots to move into a specific folder.

I really love it. I especially like how clean and simple it is, and the fact that folders can be distinguished by color. It would be great if these features could be added: Subfolders The ability to set custom folder colors by entering color codes or adding new colors

It's a super app, but for some reason, all the text of the folders shows up in a very light grey in my browser, which makes it unusable for me. I'm sure it's a minor CSS fix. I'm happy to change to 5 stars as soon as that's fixed. I just can't honestly rate it higher now, as I literally cannot see the text properly in the app.

2026.06.17 Hi RAMON, Used to work beautifully before, but now I don't see any way, button or link to allow storing a Gemini Chat answer to any Folder of my current, existing "Folders for Gemini" extension. My previous Folders are still visible OK on the left-side of the UI, but I can not add any new Gemini conversation because there's no way to do it ... no [ Add the chat button to Folder x... ] button or link. Maybe Gemini changed the UI and that broke the extension?. I really would love to see this great ext. working again! RAY San Francisco - "Folders for Gemini" extension latest version: 2.6.1 ( just updated - same problem! ) - BRAVE browser 1.91.172 (latest version) - UBUNTU LINUX 20.04 (fully updated). ##################### Dec 28, 2025 (my previous comment): Excellent extension! - it helps to organize Gemini chats finally. # 1) Necessary (I think...): to have a "Collapse all Folders" link/icon, next to the "+" icon to add new Folders, ( on the left-side bar menu ). Otherwise, the User has to collapse manually each and any previously expanded Folders, 1 X 1 ! # 2) It would be WONDERFUL to have a "Search by keywords" field, to find chats located: - within a specific Folder - across ALL Folders. # 3) In many of my older chats (2024 or before): the "Add Conversation to a Folder" option is not available / visible anywhere. Where is it? Hope you can add these features, Ramon!. RAY San Francisco.

Very good for something free. But if you already have many chats, it will be difficult to drag n drop the chat into the folder. I hope there is a function (or action icon) beside the chat to put the chat into the folder without drag the chat to above folders in distance.

Chat management on a Workspace account (where chats can't be deleted) is a nightmare, this solves the problem perfectly
