it works, but now I can't switch tracks manually if the video author provided their own audio track in other language (switches back to original instantly)

It's not working for videos chapters, they are still being translated
this needs to be implemented in youtube asap, it's so annoying. the majority of people use youtube in english and watch videos in their native language, but they get auto translated. this extension is a godsend :) thank you for making it
