I think this is something that should be an option integrated in youtube. I've been using it for months and it works perfect, no ramdom translations and zero intrusive. Absolutelly no pop ups or stuff like that from the extension.

The only built-in workaround (changing YouTube country) breaks recommendations and trends. This extension provides a targeted fix without side effects.

User installs the extension and it works automatically. Content scripts inject into YouTube pages, intercept translated titles/descriptions/subtitles/audio, and replace them with the originals obtained from YouTube's oembed API or internal player data. Users can toggle individual features (titles, audio, descriptions, etc.) via the popup and optionally whitelist specific channels. An optional YouTube Data API key can improve description/chapter restoration.
