Chrome extension that provides end-to-end encryption for Gmail. Encrypt private emails and securely share files up to 10GB.
Not a single person can open any of my emails, even other Virtru protection users. Garbage
When it works it seems to function just fine on my end. I have had multiple clients report to me that the link has expired, despite it set to "not expire". Additionally, I have to uninstall and install from Chrome nearly weekly due to some issue with Virtru and Gmail. It is very inconvenient and I lose confidence in this program.
I want to give this extension a higher grade but it tries to encrypt all of my emails even though i turn it off which makes it frustrating. Hopefully yhis can be resolved soon so I can give it the 5 stars it deserves otherwise I will have to try another extension that can do this more effectively.
When I first download the Chrome extension, it works great, but after a day when I reopen my Gmail, Virtru is not active even though it shows up in my Chrome extensions list. Each time I want to use it, I have to uninstall and reinstall the extension. This is very frustrating.
Appears to work, I sent a "Secured" email to someone who didn't have the extension installed in their browser. Responding to my secured email didn't appear to be too onerous of a process for my recipient. My only question is: who controls the encryption keys? Is this an asynchronous encryption process using on-the-fly public/private encryption key generation? I guess that I need to go to the Virtru website and learn how this works.
Caused my emails to be marked as SPAM in Google Email Server scoring algorithm. Super frustrating. Otherwise, easy to use encryption tool that I had been using for a few years.
Super easy to use extension that doesn't clash with any of my existing extensions. You essentially don't have to change how you send an email. I was using separate software outside of Gmail to send encrypted data. Now, it's super intuitive and easy!
Another google piece of junk. can you make it harder to install.
Y All I want is to find the button to reinstall virtu. You guys must enjoy making the simple, complicated and time consuming. My old judo instructor always said, "16 steps to the outhouse by 'will he make it'. So far all, this sounds like a politician who says a lot, and yet nothing at all that make sense. Just send me the info I need and not all the floss.
Funziona davvero bene con Google. Mi piacerebbe fosse universale ed utilizzabile per ogni provider di servizi mail.
