It will help you optimize your video viewing by allowing you to make quick playback speed adjustments, as well as rewind the video to hear the last few second one more time. We don't read at a constant speed, and we talk much slower than we read - there is no reason why we have to listen at a constant speed and at a (very) slow rate.
Once the extension is installed simply navigate to any page that offers HTML5 video, and you'll see a speed indicator in top left corner of the video player. Hover over the indicator to reveal the controls to accelerate, slowdown, or rewind the video (10 seconds + lowers playback speed). Or, even better, use your keyboard:
- S - decrease playback speed.
- D - increase playback speed.
- R - reset playback speed.

Works reliably. If the site has it's own speed control options, sometimes it'll take over, but that's to be expected. Shortcuts are simple and intuitive, overlay is unobtrusive and can be turned off. This really REALLY slows GCP, if you use that. But that's prob on google for having something that's being flagged for this extension, so I won't fault the extension for a company putting video animations all over a tool built for engineers.
Отличное приложение. Ускоряет любые видео (даже рекламу). Можно сделать удобные настройки специально под вас. У меня стоит ускорение на 1.7x при нажатии на G - очень удобно. Советую это расширение.

Despite a few glitches, definitely worth using! A side benefit is when ads come on YouTube, boost the speed to 4 or 5 times! (You tube speed control doesn't work for ads)

Скорость регулируется, сброс почему-то не работает, приходится перезагружать сайт, но мне этого хватает, мне главное, чтобы можно было видео ускорить, чтобы времени меньше потратить.
really good extesnion for watching lectures, but when i use it in Bongo recordings, it constantly pauses and unpauses the video. Not sure why it does this, but it makes the recording kind of unwatchable. I don't have any other extentions related to video watching(and toggled all my other extensions off and still had this issue), so it isn't something else interfering with the app. I hope this can be fixed!
