This is an open-source extension that changes homepage of Youtube (only search bar) and drops recommendations/comments from other pages.
Extension requires access to Youtube website to change its outlook.
Extension icon opens a popup with an option to show/hide the comments section of a video (to check timestamps in comments, for example). In the latest version, an option to temporarily disable the extension was added.
You can hover over the YouTube logo to access the navigation menu – playlists, liked videos, watch history, etc.

YouTube algorithms could recommend some of the best videos based on what you've watched in the past. But if you are very definite about what you want to watch and want to avoid distractions, then this is the extension you need.
great extension it worked perfectly and help in avoiding distraction now i see video which i actually want to see not by some algorithm .

Works very well to keep you focused and not watching youtube nonsense.
I am really thankful to people who designed this extension. I presume the coding work was not hard yet this does not change the fact that it is extremely beneficial
