Sorry, it doesn't work. It must have been a great extension when it worked. I installed it yesterday and it didn't do anything to stop the ads.
I have been using this, and I love it. As of yesterday, May 29th, 2023, however, the extension seems to have stopped working for me. I have checked the resttings, turned it off an on with and without reloading the page, and with and without restarting my browser. I can only guess that maube the freevee ads made changes to force the ads to play (which stinks - serving adds to paying customers is complete garbage).
Works great. Tip: restart Chrome/clear the cache.

I found this extension after discovering uBlock wasn't blocking these ads, and Freevee Skipper does just what the title says. The ad showing for about one second where the normal ad break is nearly seamless, which is a fun reminder that I'm beating "The Man" LOL. I like the 'previously on...' segments, and it's nice that this app lets you choose not to skip them. Thanks for the good work!
I didn't think this was possible with server-side ad injection but it in fact works. The developers even seem to adapt the extension to Freevee code changes. Thank you!
I am so grateful for this extension. I have ADHD and it is so difficult to take in a show while constantly being interrupted by ads for things I don't want or need. Thank you so so so so much and may you have much joy in your life.

Utterly useless. Doesn't skip ads unless there's already a Skip option which Freevee doesn't have. Removed from Chrome.
