I kind of skips, but when the video comes back on, there is a hazy overlay making the video dark, and the video controls remain on top of the movie like a watermark.

Seems it would function better if it buffered the feed (few seconds of lag) and then connected before and after ads for a more seamless video experience. Between episodes/video streams, can adjust and empty buffers and adjust for differences.
