It works, but would be nice to have some option to disable it for some pages. On X video controls are doubled, because there are also custom ones.

Doesn't work on the site I tried that has an .mp4 video auto-playing inside a <video> tag.

Works like a charm, good for 9gag to show the controls by default. Works with videos as well as with GIFs

Works on videos on Reddit, using Chrome laptop. Just place mouse cursor on video and the controls are shown. Thanks!

yes yes yes, This is the substitute for the old "Always show html 5 controls" which is no longer working. Simple yet effective and exactly what i was searching for. Makes the video controls visible when you mouse over the bottom part of video's on social media. In my case, 9GAG

Essential for scrolling 9gag, it's working on Edge 103 and is the only one in the store
