This extension makes right clicking on links open the link in a new background tab. In short, the same behavior as middle mouse click or Cmd + Click on a link, but for the right mouse button. This makes opening links in new tabs a breeze on modern trackpads, where gestures already allow you to do most navigation operations without ever needing your keyboard.
This extension requires the following permissions:
- Access to your tabs. This is required to add new tabs in the correct order.
- Access to all pages. This is required to listen for right clicks on links.
This extension does not gather any sort of analytics, tracking, or other such information.

Funziona facile, grazie
Isn't doing anything. I'll never find anything as good as Linkclump was.
it's work!
Works very well in Brave Browser. "Right Click Opens Link in a Background Tab" extension is very intuitive. While the "Left Click" opens a link in the same tab, the "Right Click" opens the link in a new tab. All browser systems should be designed this way in the first place. If I need to see the "context list" of the link, I just hold the "SHIFT" key while right clicking the link.
反応しない事が割とある (読み込みすぐなど。一度右クリックすると、反応しだしたりする) iframeでは反応しないっぽい。 manifest3非対応のRight Click Opens Link New Tab Correct Orderから乗り換え。 Right Click Opens Link New Tabが対応してるっぽいけど、こっちより少し反応悪いので様子見。
This extension (Right Click Opens Link in a Background Tab) did NOTHING. Not only does it NOT open a new tab in the background, it doesn't even open a new tab at all. In other words, I still need to right-click on a link then select "Open link in new tab" in order to get Chrome to open that link in the background in a new tab. This makes me wonder why the Chrome programmers cannot give us an option (in Chrome itself, not in a separate extension) to select a mouse button that will actually open a link in the background in a new tab? This single feature makes my browsing in Firefox an extremely smooth and intuitive pleasure.
only thing missing is to add a quick turn off option.
Very Usefull
