Block Image|Video is an extension that lets you easily block or hide desired items (image, video, etc.) with just one click.
Once you add this addon to your browser, a button will appear in the toolbar. This button shows that the addon is active (with red color). Now, before using the addon, please visit the options page and choose a desired item(s) to block or hide (i.e. image). Within the options page, if you choose to - hide - items, the addon allows these item(s) to be loaded in the browser, but, will make them invisible. On the other hand, if you choose to - block - any item, the addon prevents that specific item from loading into your browser. This way, loading the web pages may become faster, and you need to turn off the addon and reload the page to make them visible again.
Note: before using the addon, please visit the addon's options page and adjust the item(s) you want to block or hide.

Blocks it allright, the whole page gets blocked and turns white, useless!
Won't block videos, only hide them. Useless.

Works exaclty as intented. Great!
One of the best, sometimes block some buttons coz i have selected block html images. NO issue, work without reloading :)
If there is a hotkey or something for toggling on and off, it would be really helpful. e.g. Alt+L
It also blocked the text at the webpage menu which are really the text.
The option to block videos is grayed out, only hiding is possible. Thus it is unusable for my purpose of saving data on a metered connection.
Works like a charm. Started using just because it's ramadan and it works amazing.
Doesn't generally leave image outline as many others do, and may change page layout.. more likely if frames are off.. (I typically like that) Doesn't block dynamic ads, but that's something you should have adguard or ublock origin for. Gives option to hide or block images & frames. Will tell you how many items it blocked. won't block icons. Videos are hidden, not blocked .. I'm seeing some squeak through. Nice convenient combo ..images/video, but I will be looking for more effective.
