Indispensable.
The original and best, cannot/will not use FB without it. I am so surprised that so few of my friends use it, even after they complain about FB, and I tell them about FBPurity... make facebook great again!
I cannot praise F.B.Purity enough! Facebook has become way too complex in anticipating what they think I want to see. F. B. Purity puts ME back in control of keeping in touch with friends, family and favourite pages without all the rubbish and ads clogging up the newsfeed. Works perfectly, advises of updates (all absolutely worth while and very in line with the quick changes Facebook make) and has made Facebook user friendly again. Plus some fun features to personalize my page if I wish. I'd give it 10 stars if I could.
I have been using this game-changing extension for several years now. It is the only thing that makes Facebook tolerable for me. With all the ads and other sponsored content, plus all the trending crap I don't care about, Facebook has become almost unusable "as is". I want my newsfeed sorted by most recent. Now if we could only get FB to include everything from our friends in our feed, that would be great. Their algorithm for choosing which posts we get to see is maddening and nonsensical. At least FB Purity makes it tolerable.
There are so many customizable options and features to this add-on, where do I begin? I love being able to customize the news feed to see just the basics. And sweeping away all the fluff from the left and right columns leaves the page so much less cluttered. I also love being able to set a background photo. But text and image filtering really take the cake!
Could not use FB without this.
This is the real deal! Cleans up FB and customizes the interface to your specifications. Best of all, you'll never have to reset your News Feed to "Most Recent" ever again! Yay!

With all the changes Facebook makes, it's enough to make you want to delete it for good. F.B. Purity helps make Facebook great again! Don't you hate it when you load Facebook and the first posts you see are from a month ago? F.B. Purity has a setting to keep your news feed sorted by most recent! Don't like certain "features"? You can shut them off! I highly recommend you install this version of F.B. Purity!
I've been using FBP for years and it fixes every annoying thing FB throws out there.
