It's easy to click through initial prompt that indicates an extension is required without noticing that it ALSO requires that a LanSweeper installation package be installed. This is documented fully here: https://www.lansweeper.com/knowledgebase/custom-actions-in-chrome/ As others I was annoyed that nothing was happening after I installed the extension, but that was my fault for not reading the initial prompts carefully enough. Everything worked as expected once the additional package from LanSweeper was installed. Feature suggestion: Include everything in the extension, or at a minimum have the extension detect whether the additional package is installed and throw an error. Took a star for it not "just working", then gave it back because of RTFM.
