It’s the add-on for Google Chrome, it turns browser into what it has never been in it’s life: a browser that is no longer resource killer (and if you have ever used Google’s browser you know very well what I’m talking about, with the results on Windows or macOS). The Marvellous Suspender has everything you need to allow you to control the behavior of active / inactive tabs and thus free up RAM when possible, in a transparent way, you do the first configuration and then you forget it exists, what you can do is only that couple of clicks that will serve to manually suspend a tab that you have awakened by mistake by selecting it.
Fork of the original The Great Suspender, but without those modifications that go to invade user privacy. You can find the official repository at github.com/gioxx/MarvellousSuspender, feel free to participate if you have the skills to do that.

動かなくなると聞いたので移行しようと思い、なんとか移行先を見つけました。
This extension has been instrumental in how I now navigate and interact with the web. I can now use my browser as a mini-notepad, for reminders, for going into rabbit holes and better managing my tasks
I mistakenly blamed this extension for bad behavior in my browser. According to logs and files I found in my Google Chrome configuration files, I was sure this extension was to blame. It seemed likely given the checkered past of The Great Suspender. As it turns out, upon looking deeper, I found the culprit was actually the "Volume Control" extension, not this one. My sincerest apologies for making this mistake. I can attest that this extension has actually performed well. I've not used it long enough to give it a four or five star rating, but I can say it has worked and not caused trouble.

時間で自動サスペンド、非アクティブでも表示してるタブはサスペンドしない等の設定がたくさんあってカスタマイズできる。 レビューにあった左クリックでサスペンド解除は復活している。 おそらくこれのせいで勝手にアクティブウィンドウが変わる。これがかなり困る
Although I just instaled it I put a 5 stars to it. I used The Great Suspender (original). It was exactly what I needed to restore my tabs when the browser closes unintentionally, whether because of a crash, a system update, a mistake in window handling, etc . . . And also to suspend tabs to release the load. I saw it was deactivated by google because unsafe. Just when I needed to restore my tabs, that is when I noticed it has been disabled . . . So I cannot restore them. But I searched and found The Marvellous Suspender from gioxx.org. If it work as well as The Great Suspender (original) , I'll be very pleased. Good work and thank you.
would love it if it could work with the new tab sync groups. currently a tab cannot suspend or unsuspend if it's in a sync group.
目前記錄跟最近記錄怎麼突然沒辦法使用了?都一片空白??
Chrome的Tab Group功能無法儲存已休眠的分頁，還原後會變成新分頁，可否修復?
Working great before but recent versions of Chrome seems to be broken the suspending functionality.
