It’s the add-on for Google Chrome, it turns browser into what it has never been in it’s life: a browser that is no longer resource killer (and if you have ever used Google’s browser you know very well what I’m talking about, with the results on Windows or macOS). The Marvellous Suspender has everything you need to allow you to control the behavior of active / inactive tabs and thus free up RAM when possible, in a transparent way, you do the first configuration and then you forget it exists, what you can do is only that couple of clicks that will serve to manually suspend a tab that you have awakened by mistake by selecting it.
Fork of the original The Great Suspender, but without those modifications that go to invade user privacy. You can find the official repository at github.com/gioxx/MarvellousSuspender, feel free to participate if you have the skills to do that.

Расширение изрядно потрепало в последние годы, но после порта на Манифест 3 все стало работать идеально. Заслуженные 5 баллов. Настоятельно рекомендую использовать в связке с любым расширением, которое автоматически сохраняет текущую сессию с вкладками.
Works great, so far! I am a long-time Great Suspender user, and we all know what happened with that one. Recently I had been using a tracker-less fork of the Great Suspender, Great Suspender Original (it calls itself), and it had a hard time with tabs in groups, and also with simply suspending tabs consistently. Thankfully I found The Marvelous Suspender! It does all of the main things that the Great Suspender Original had a hard time with. If I had one very minor issue, that is a a bit of an annoyance (and will hopefully get fixed), when suspending a Youtube tab, I don't see the Youtube icon. Instead I see the generic gray world/internet icon. I'm using the following browser: Version 138.0.7204.157 (Official Build) for Linux Mint (64-bit), if that helps. Nevertheless, great extension. Thanks for doing this!

I have too many tabs open, so it's really useful. However, one fatal problem is that "Unsuspend all tabs" is right below "Suspend all other tabs". Pressing “Unsuspend all tabs” if pressed by mistake will not only drain your net bandwidth, but eat up machine resources as well. I think it would be safer to allow the user to customize the items displayed in the popup, or to make “Unsuspend all tabs” invisible. This is a very useful extension and I'm surprised it hasn't been improved in this area for a long time, so I added just a few orders. Thank you ! Translated with DeepL.com (free version)
開大量分頁(1306個分頁)，會有一堆凍結分頁無法顯示分頁網站圖片(只顯示地球圖片)，就算重新載入在凍結還是一樣狀況，原本版本更新上來的好像不會有這問題，但如果是新安裝的就會有這問題
Best tab suspender ever.
hardly feeling needed to write a review until now. Really appreciate the developer for the effort in migrating it to the new manifest. I was scrambling for an alternative when Google decide a change that destroys this wonderful extension. This is the most useful & important extension I ever used and needed (since the great suspender until it went rogue)
