It’s the add-on for Google Chrome, it turns browser into what it has never been in it’s life: a browser that is no longer resource killer (and if you have ever used Google’s browser you know very well what I’m talking about, with the results on Windows or macOS). The Marvellous Suspender has everything you need to allow you to control the behavior of active / inactive tabs and thus free up RAM when possible, in a transparent way, you do the first configuration and then you forget it exists, what you can do is only that couple of clicks that will serve to manually suspend a tab that you have awakened by mistake by selecting it.
Fork of the original The Great Suspender, but without those modifications that go to invade user privacy. You can find the official repository at github.com/gioxx/MarvellousSuspender, feel free to participate if you have the skills to do that.

It does what I say, but when we open the browser the next day, it seems all of our tabs are lost.
Does what it says but I wish it would keep the icon of the tab instead of changing it to grey globe.
Great! My MacBook was freezing up before, memory use is much lower now. Can't use my MacBook with 8 GB Ram without this extension.
Je l'ai utilisé pendant des années, puis elle a été bloquée pendant quelques temps par chrome pour des politiques de sécurité j'imagine, qui ont été corrigé depuis a priori car de nouveau dispo. Dans cette période, je suis passé sur le système interne à chrome de mise en attente des onglets et bien... je n'ai pas été convaincu, gros ralentissement de mon ordi (j'ai toujours beaucoup d'onglet ^^). Du coup je suis revenu a ce plugin, et par magie mon ordi tourne de nouveau comme il faut ! Bravo pour l'équipe derrière cet outil !

7.1.6_2出道即巅峰, 后面全是画蛇添足。更新到8.0.0.0后, 不会自动保存会话。更新到8.1之后手动会话保存功能都失效。更新到8.1.3之后标签图标都显示不出, 我就问问能不能搞个不升级的版本。26-4月:都大半年了还不修复不保存会话的功能, 浏览器窗口再次清空没法恢复, 没那能力更新就老老实实做7.1.6_2的版本, 本来这种扩展也不需要更新, 非得瞎搞
Do not use this filth. It will scramble and delete your open tabs.
Поставлю 5 когда разработчики не будут засорять консоль логами расширения. В прод отправить многочисленный console.log, вот уж спасибо.
