📢 February 2026: Sorry, Chrome 145 has a bug that causes problems with tab group operations (collapse and modify title). This bug will be fixed in Chrome 146. This is a Chrome bug, not an extension bug. All browser extensions with similar functionality are affected.
In addition to general tab management functions, this extension specifically enhances the browser built-in "Tab Groups" feature.
Features:
● Automatically create group for tabs through custom matching rules.
● Save and restore current tabs or groups (snapshots).
● Opened tabs/groups management: activate, close, expand/collapse, move to other window, modify group name and color, new tab in group.

Doesn't *do* anything. What looks like a way to collapse tabs into a group does nothing, there's no clear instruction on how to select tabs for grouping or create a new group so it's basically pointless.
Nice extension but doesn't work well with The Great Suspender. If a tab is suspended then it is removed from the group. Orange color can't be selected while editing group rules.

This would be the perfect extension for me if I had the ability to collapse all groups at once, or have them remember what I last clicked (in the "saved groups" menu) Other than that, I have a couple other ideas: - a single button to save all open groups in the window, and - a flavour text telling me what a button does when I hover over it (this or a list of what the buttons do)
Awesome. Many thanks, from a long-time multiple-app tabs-extensions users. My "only if": maybe I missed it, but there's a long list of keyboard shortcuts, but no keyboard shortcut for the thing that we do most with it - opening (clicking) the extension window? As a suggestion Sync Tab Groups, my second or third favorite (if I finally end up selecting this one as my first aster I use it for some days) uses Shift+Ctrl+Space, and there are others using same or similar

I can move the tabs between windows by button on each tab only individually or all.
Great Extension, But can you add a feature so the Groups saved, sync for your profile. So when you sign into your google account they are saved on other devices?
标签组名称能否只展示一级域名，或者前面一个单词或前多少个字符，目前分组名太长了
I want to name every new group I create, but the shortcut of this extension bypasses that input box. Is there a way to name a group by hotkey?
As of March Fri 11, 2022, extension does not recall saved groups...worked for one day, then stopped. you can click all u like, nothing happens (checked there was no blocking)...possibly google updated chrome and rendered it useless...terrible shame.
