📢 February 2026: Sorry, Chrome 145 has a bug that causes problems with tab group operations (collapse and modify title). This bug will be fixed in Chrome 146. This is a Chrome bug, not an extension bug. All browser extensions with similar functionality are affected.
In addition to general tab management functions, this extension specifically enhances the browser built-in "Tab Groups" feature.
Features:
● Automatically create group for tabs through custom matching rules.
● Save and restore current tabs or groups (snapshots).
● Opened tabs/groups management: activate, close, expand/collapse, move to other window, modify group name and color, new tab in group.

Hello :) Can anyone could help me and explain what the "Save up to X snapshots per named group" feature does? What happen if I set a 5 or a 10 there, as a value? Kudos!
You just made my working life so much more pleasant - thank you, very much. I'd like to request a new feature, please - would it be possible to (optionally) specify a default group to use, if none of the rules are matched? This would mean that all uncategorised tabs would be under a single group, which can be minimized, to reduce clutter. I'd probably name this group 'Misc', but allowing the user to specifiy this woould be good.

I was simply looking for keyboard shortcuts for Chrome's tab grouping features. Seems weird to me that these shortcuts aren't built in but instead require an extension. Anyway, thanks!

Just installed this but it seems fantastic. I'm using it with another utility "Window Manager" so that when I open up a group it then create groups (by the rules). It would be great if when it created the groups that it created them collapsed. Still great anyway. Independent developers always have to do what Google should do to begin with
This is awesome and imrpoves my daily productivity. A couple of features would be great: 1)Need to be able to re-order tab rules in order to adjust precedence of some rules. 2) Is there a way to export/import rules for backup
