I myself tried to implement edge-tts pip package in a Chromium extensions failing expectacularly several times. Now I can finally use Edge tts voices without necessarily switching to MS Edge browser. Thanks :)
Great to use! You can also experience the smooth text-to-speech service available in Edge within Chrome.
its best.... but i only want to heAR AUDIO N continue my desktop activity... its use 1/4 screen, pleASE add minimize...
Просто потрясающее расширение! Денег не просит, регистрации не просит, озвучивает выделенный текст натуральными голосами от Microsoft. Естественно, необходимо подключение к интернету и немного времени для того чтобы сформировать голосовой файл. Не знаю, прикроет ли эту лавочку Microsoft, но сейчас, на июль 2024 года всё работает.
Naming could be better so you can gain more users :) Like Free Natural Text to Speech and highlighting the selected text in the browser would be great
This is amazing! This is definitely the text to speech tool that I was looking for. I knew that I could use it on the Edge browser, but I was really hoping to access these voices on the Chrome browser. So glad I can do that thanks to this extension!! Thank you for the amazing work!

The voices are absolutely phenomenal. But it's really not very convenient to read aloud contents on a webpage, I have select and then paste into the textbox. Is it possible to have the extension pick up stuff from the webpages and generate the audio?
Edit: Now that it has Dark mode ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Love ❤ how it now it looks with Dark mode on Vivaldi browser in Sidebar Toolbar Panel; it's like it is part of browser 😁. Amazing! Bravo 👏 developer. 👍 Previews comment: Almost 5 stars. It works on Vivaldi browser. Icon goes to Toolbar Panel. It's ok, it's practical. First you need select text and then with Right-click mouse in Context Menu click on Icon and then that text is populate in textarea, select all that Language, Country, Voice and now you can click on that big Blue button Generate audio and then you can click on Play to listen. Simple :-D BTW. It needs Dark mode.
