This extension allows you to set custom download locations with a flexible and strong RegExp-based rules. You can literally use all the power of regular expressions in your rules and handle even the most complex cases with this extension.
The download rules can be based on filetype, filename, file and referrer(a page where the download was started from) URLs. You can even substitute some part of the result download location with parts of your matching rules via capturing groups!

Спасибо автору, идея отличная, но почему-то не срабатывает такое выражение для MIME: (application/(pdf|msword|rtf|xml|vnd\.openxmlformats-officedocument.*|vnd\.oasis\.opendocument.*|epub\+zip|x-mobipocket-ebook)|text/(plain|csv|tab-separated-values)) и такое для расширений: ^(.*)\.(xls|xlsx|xlsm|xlam|doc|docx|pdf|txt|csv|tsv|rtf|odt|ott|sxw|ods|ots|sxc|odp|xml|epub|fb2|djvu|chm|dwg)$ Что я делаю не так? И если заполнены два и более полей группы, например, MIME и FIlename содержимое полей группы обрабатывается как AND или как OR? Дополнено позже. В Edge вроде бы работает корректно, проблема наблюдается в Chromium

I've been using this extension for a while and it also took me a while to find it, so I think it's quite unique and furthermore, it does exactly what I want. I was hesitant because of the new browsing history permission as well but seeing as its open source, I took a look at the code and was satisfied that this data is not being sent out in any way. Apart from that, from a Github issue tracker I seem to gather they are looking at making this permission either optional or using an alternative mechanism which might not need the "Read Your Browsing History" permission. In any case, I'm satisfied its safe and apart from that, it works flawlessly and provides a service that I have looked far and wide for to find. Awesome!
Not entirely sure why this app suddenly need/requires the ability to read my browser history. Before this was a 5/5 extension. Now i'm hesitant to allow access to something i can't understand is needed - and wasn't before.
I've happily used this quite well for a few years but I don't see why there's a new requirement to provide browsing history Unfortunately I will now need to find an alternative
I love this extension. At lets me organize all of my downloads and that way I don't have to clean the directory. I loved to be organized and this extension does it.
Very Useful if you need to downloads to go to different folders depending on where it was downloaded from.
