ChatGPT File Uploader is a Chrome extension that allows you to upload large files to chat.openai.com in smaller chunks. This can be useful when you need to upload a large file to a ChatGPT that has a character size limit. With File ChatGPT File Uploader, you can split the file into smaller chunks between 1 - 15000 characters and upload them one at a time. The extension adds a button to the page that lets you select a file and automatically splits it into chunks and uploads them for you.
Currently supports the following file formats: txt, .py, .pdf, docx, .xlsx and many more.

Great for translating large chunks of text. One suggestion I have is for it to recognize when there is a word cutoff and adjust the character limit per prompt to for example 1998 instead of 2000 so that the text doesn't cut off a word mid-word and continue in the next prompt. That messes up understanding
Good work, tried the plug in after watching the YTB video, helpful for batching reports for instance, still need to check it doesn't blow the context for GPT-4 but that's a limitation regardless. A cool addition would be to include instructions that "wait and summarise", "sumamrise each chunk", etc. so that it simply says "READ" and executes a pre-prepared prompt.
