ChatGPT File Uploader is a Chrome extension that allows you to upload large files to chat.openai.com in smaller chunks. This can be useful when you need to upload a large file to a ChatGPT that has a character size limit. With File ChatGPT File Uploader, you can split the file into smaller chunks between 1 - 15000 characters and upload them one at a time. The extension adds a button to the page that lets you select a file and automatically splits it into chunks and uploads them for you.
Currently supports the following file formats: txt, .py, .pdf, docx, .xlsx and many more.

It works! How do I modify it to accept .eml files, and even better, .zip files (unzips the file first, then parses it)? I also followed your youtube channel; I tried w/ prompting and hit the following error VM457:30 Uncaught TypeError: Cannot read properties of null (reading 'parentNode') at <anonymous>:30:15 (anonymous) @ VM457:30 I asked GPT to fix the error, and it just gave error handling.. but still gave an error, so I wasn't able to replicate your tool. BUT the plugin itself worked!
This updated code fragment checks whether the last character is a '.' (period) when splitting the file into chunks of 15000 characters, with a specific character limit. If the last character is '.', the cut is performed directly. However, if the last character is not a '.', it splits at the nearest '.' dot mark, thus obtaining more consistent chunks. With this change, the file will be split into more coherent chunks. If the last character is not a '.' (period), the fragment will be split at the nearest '.' period. This makes the fragments more meaningful and ensures that sentences are not interrupted.

I have a problem with this extension. It only submits the last chunk of any document I upload. Not really useful. I appreciate the effort and still waiting for the update.
