ChatGPT File Uploader is a Chrome extension that allows you to upload large files to chat.openai.com in smaller chunks. This can be useful when you need to upload a large file to a ChatGPT that has a character size limit. With File ChatGPT File Uploader, you can split the file into smaller chunks between 1 - 15000 characters and upload them one at a time. The extension adds a button to the page that lets you select a file and automatically splits it into chunks and uploads them for you.
Currently supports the following file formats: txt, .py, .pdf, docx, .xlsx and many more.

Was a life changer, doesn't work anymore ):
I was able to upload a photo with this extension before, now the uploading attachment sign has disappeared even in GPT 3.5. Why did this happen?

Simply amazing extension. Thank you! Need image upload functionality also but giving 5 stars for the working text and pdf upload. Somewhere I read previously this extension supported reading images also. If google does not allow it then can you please try releasing a version with image upload functionality in Edge Addons?

could it be possible for it to divide the files i want to send by lines instead of chunks. maybe like option to send 100 lines every batch?
Places the uploader button in the chat box and keeps it there, making it nearly impossible to chat. Wasted hours until I figured out the problem was ChatGPT File Uploader. Maybe you could turn it off and just use it only when uploading chunks of files. Or, try another plugin/extension, or don't.
I love this extension. My only irritation is that the submit file button covers the text box. So when I'm trying to type a message to GPT, I can't always see what I'm typing. Which I could move that component around the page to be more convenient.
This functionality exists in the Paid ChatGPT4, but before this there was no way I know of to load documents into ChatGPT3.5!! Worked first try, will save me lots of time with my novel writing, thanks!!
