I encountered this extension by accident when looking for something else, and boy am I glad I did. The extension combines the functionality of several others and much more in a simple package (read notifications, send later, etc.). It's very polished, and changed the way I use email. Since it supports Inbox by gMail it was a perfect fit for me.
I loved this extension until I realized that it couldn't send recurring emails. So I had to boomerang back to Boomerang for that feature. And I'll need to look for extensions for the other features I liked--such as email tracking & (if other extensions to this) integrated polling, etc. Oh well. Recurring emails is important, so not having it was a dealbreaker for me with MixMax.
This would be incredibly useful if they didn't block you from using gmail when not "signed in". After you sign it it goes right back to blocking you with the same error message. I cannot fathom why they would want to block you completely when there are much less obtrusive ways of getting someone to sign in and use their functionality than that. This could easily have been a 4 or 5 star review but blocking my main mail client completely is absurd hence the 1 star.
uses too much ram. So it slow the speed of Chrome, I don't recommend it. Optimize it please
Admittedly I originally downloaded this so I could use the giphy function. But since then the love has grown as I discover more great ways to use it. Polls! Social Badges! Cool coding. My go-to favourite is the snooze functionality – it helps me focus and prioritise emails throughout the day without important ones being lost down the line.
To be honest, when I first downloaded Mixmax, I did not understand it. I've now come to the point that I can't live without it. Mostly for it's /cal feature... I have had everyone I work with purchase it. Mixmax makes me accessing templates, and partner calendars super easy.
Mixmax is just a POWERHOUSE. It still surprises me how many super practical functions are rolled into one. I personally use these every day: - Snooze / delayed send (my inbox is my to do list, so sometimes you don't want to have less urgent things hide the view of the more important ones -Planning meetings. It just makes it super easy -Seeing who opened and clicked your mails. It's a bit voyeuristic, but it gives peace of mind to know whether something has been seen. I'm not using the bulk sending option yet, but still may in the future. Five stars, absolutely.
