PDF.js is a Portable Document Format (PDF) viewer that is built with HTML5.
PDF.js is community-driven and supported by Mozilla. Our goal is to create a general-purpose, web standards-based platform for parsing and rendering PDFs.
This extension offers PDF.js as the default PDF viewer in Chrome. This is the official Chrome extension of the PDF.js project. Be careful of unrelated copycats.
If you want to use this viewer to view local files, visit chrome://extensions/?id=oemmndcbldboiebfnladdacbdfmadadm and put a check before "Allow access to file URLs".

Downloads unwanted "Better Tab." I don't like Kami which is why I tried this viewer. Am uninstalling it immediately due to spyware.

Was having an issue printing from a PDF window. It would work in IE but not Chrome. Added this extension and it worked great. Thanks!

Chrome has had a long standing issue rendering pdf files and this extension is an excellent drop-in replacement. I recommend everyone use it. Maybe Chrome should ship with it pre-installed!
Works great, I couldn't view PDFs in browser for some odd reason since I heard google removed PDF functionality :/. This worked great though and now I can see PDFs again. Thanks
