PDF.js is a Portable Document Format (PDF) viewer that is built with HTML5.
PDF.js is community-driven and supported by Mozilla. Our goal is to create a general-purpose, web standards-based platform for parsing and rendering PDFs.
This extension offers PDF.js as the default PDF viewer in Chrome. This is the official Chrome extension of the PDF.js project. Be careful of unrelated copycats.
If you want to use this viewer to view local files, visit chrome://extensions/?id=oemmndcbldboiebfnladdacbdfmadadm and put a check before "Allow access to file URLs".

Very good; upon opening it has more tools than the standard Chrome PDF Opener (I have just started to use chrome over safari and I must say this app is very helpful to view pfd files in the browser
PDF files that Chrome could previously read without issue are suddenly "corrupt" when I try to view them with PDF Viewer. I can use it to open PDFs that are saved to my computer, but it is useless for viewing PDFs from the Internet.
WORKS ON CHROME 42.0 - A bit slow, but at least I can open a PDF in chrome! However, I still cannot print PDFs.
works like crap with larger pdfs even if they are on your computer not from the web
