I've found it very helpful. It doesn't work so well with all sites, but has become my go-to for getting a better printable page than I can get with just Chrome's "print" function.
This extension is the best one I have discovered in a long time. It helps me provide clean and readable information to the people I work with. I wish I had this years ago! Previously I had to copy the article to word and clean it up to make it readable.
Print Friendly is very useful to me. I use it to select material to preserve, to forward and to share. There are sites which block it, which I find very annoying, as it is so helpful to my work.

PrintFriendly purges the web pages of content that has nothing to do with the theme or topic matter of the document. It works like a charm and creates functionally essential, albeit valuable PDF's amazingly quick and efficiently!
print friendly is so easy to use and has worked effectively every time I used it. Just add icon, click it, and you get a clean web page where you can print, save, and much more. I highly recommend it.

Is a real time saver when format of material showing on the screen is compatible with printfriendly. I do not understand what the compatibility issues are but for the material on some sites the printfriendly results are perfectly well formatted and concise whereas on other sites this is not the case for example there can be large spaces between blocks of content. When it is compatible the results are great, otherwise have to result to other techniques such as copy and paste text to word document. Just have to go through the process ... if works it works, otherwise go to plan B. I would give 5-stars if the results were consistent which is likely no fault of printfriendly ... I keep it because it is a good tool the works more often than not.
