2016-12-03: thought I'd check back to see what's developed. I did not reinstall it this time, I just read comments until I saw that the extension is apparently still sending a copy of every-single-page-you-print. Will you still print your medical records? Your bank statements with account numbers? That email from the person with whom you're having an affair? Below is my original review. tl;dr - AVOID. I was looking for a PDF extension, but because of work / confidentiality, I needed to verify how this extension behaves. FYI, i am an IT Architect. I'll tell you what's going on here, then finish with the tech details. Everything you print, intimate, confidential, or public, goes through the internet and onto their servers --- where it can be stored forever and used however they like. The makers of this app should be completely transparent, but I found no statement of this fact. Their privacy policy appears to carefully only talk about their web site and 'personal data' (however they define that term). This extension connects to a host named gs1.wac.v2cdn.net - a domain owned by Verizon. In the actual HTTP request it uses a "named host" of cdn.printfriendly.com - which is an 'alias' to wac.cf62.edgecastcdn.net - which is an alias that points at the original host above (gs1.wav.v2cdn.net). Sorry this was so long.

This is a simple easy to use extension that will convert files into easy to print PDF format. It also allows you to eliminate pictures, especially if you don't need them and don't want to waste ink and paper.
