OVERVIEW
Print Edit WE provides facilities to edit the contents of a web page prior to printing or saving as HTML or MHTML. Elements in the web page can be formatted, hidden or deleted and text can be edited or inserted. Unwanted content, such as adverts and sidebars, can easily be removed.
Note, to use the Save As HTML feature, the Save Page WE extension (version 14.0 or later) must be installed and enabled.

The problem with the new simplified Print Edit that opens a new tab is that it misses several functions of the old add-on leading to new types of badly formatted printouts. A key example is the "fix page breaks" command that used to help with some bugs but is no longer available. For instance, in an article from New Yorker a photo overlaps with the text that follows (midway through the text) - is there any tool to address this? RT articles tend to clip the last paragraph or two by underestimating the number of pages needed - this type of issue used to be taken care of by the fix page break tool. One last notorious bug, fortunately easy to fix by editing the amount of pages, is that many articles come with extra blank pages at the end.
