This extension allows to find and delete duplicate bookmarks, empty folders, merge folders with the same name (within the same path), find no longer working and expired bookmarks and remove them easily.
Permissions explained:
1. Read and change your bookmarks(required on install) - required for core functions to work
2. Read and change all your data on the websites you visit(optional, not asked until you use Broken URLs checker) – to check if bookmarked page loads and doesn't return any error.

Нет кнопки "Удалить все дубликаты (оставить один вверху списка)" - этот функционал необходим. 68000 закладок, 3000 папок, 1500 дубликатов ссылок. Удалить выбранные не функционально по причине того-что закликмивать по копияям вручную и жать кнопку "Удалить" можно и без этого дополнения. Но заниматься этим вручную - нет.

Fantastic. You still have to manually delete duplicate bookmarks, but the app does find them and includes as a bonus delete empty folders and broken urls.
It does what it says on the tin. My favorite feature was the ability to get rid of bookmarks that were no longer reachable/available. Thank you, dev. You rock!
Does work but would be much better if results were tabulated. When clicking on 'Find broken URLs', it just gives a list of URLs. If the results were presented in a table containing information such as bookmark name, URL and which folder it belonged to - then you could make more informed decisions on whether or not to delete. I have bookmarks to web interfaces for devices on home network, just because I get a 404 error for that URL, does not mean it should be deleted.
