Wonderful job application tracking and customization aid.
Teal has been a game-changer in my job search. I really like how it shows the ATS match count and makes it easy to tweak my resume for better matches. Plus, it's super affordable at just $10 per week, which is a big help when job hunting gets stressful. I'm still checking out Teal's other features, but thanks a bunch for creating such a user-friendly tool.
Teal takes the guesswork out of writing and customizing resume after resume. It's straightforward, easy to use, and endorsed by many thought leaders I respect.
This has made building my resume and customizing it to the job description fantastically easy. The job tracker also helps me keep up with my job application history. It is extremely easy to quickly customize and respond to new job postings when they drop into Linkedin.
This has been a huge help and taken me away from spreadsheets and notebooks. It makes it a lot easier to keep track of everything in a challenging job market. I am confident that Teal is saving me time and going to be one of the tools that I use to find my next career move.
Great tool! Its helping me keep track of applications easier and saving me time on restructuring my resume & cover letters for each one. I love it!
It's a cool tool to help you track and organize job postings. However, I don't see myself updating to pay for the extra features and visually I wish the job/resume tracker had more color contrast or tags
Transitioned to using this from just copy & pasting links on a Google document and it's just much better. I think the option to color-code items in the job tracker would be nice. Also I would maybe like a more intuitive link to different cover letters for different jobs, as I tend to change that and not so much the resume itself. But overall, great tool, I recommend giving it a try for sure.
Guys, your tool is awesome and works great. This is a very positive point, despite the initial installation and startup issues when it didn't start at all. However, thanks to your support team, they recommended deactivating other previously installed plug-ins. I turned everything off and it began to work well. I'm not sure what plug-in(s) was the troublemaker, I haven't had time to reactivate the old plugins to see what was blocking it yet. Back to my review. I would recommend adding a placeholder for a URL that points to an external application’s portal or parsing such a link automatically, to the development backlog. Many LinkedIn job postings have an "apply" button that directs you to the hiring company's job application portal. This is important because sometimes the LinkedIn poster closes the position published on LinkedIn, but it's still active on the hiring company's portal. If you bookmarked the job from LinkedIn but missed the application deadline, and the poster closed the job on LinkedIn, then you missed the opportunity to apply except if you were smart enough to keep the external link somehow.
I bought a week to try it out. Two hours in and I realize that was 9 bucks wasted: I imported my resume as a Word document, Teal reformats my bullet points into prose. Badly. Teal offers limited font choices, none that I want Teal Butchers company names, Mangles employment dates, extracts terms from achievements to rewrite every job title. AI generates fictional accomplishments in every section. I have a peer-reviewed publications section formatted the way I want. Teal butchered them like it did the other sections. I just wasted two hours of my life and am back to manually editing my resume outside Teal. Unacceptable. Update: Teal member services reached out almost immediately and we're discussing the issues. Bumping to two stars for that and toning down the vitriol.
