Hover your mouse over any image on the supported websites and the extension will automatically enlarge the image to its full size, making sure that it still fits into the browser window.
This is an open source version of the original HoverZoom extension which is now overrun by malware and deleted from store. In this version all spyware has been removed, many bugs were fixed and new features were added. It doesn't collect any statistics by default. The only permission it needs is to access data on all websites (to extract full images), and *optional* permissions to access browser history, download/save images or get tab urls for per-site configuration.
Sometimes sites change design and when it happens extension needs to be updated. Please report any issues with zoom not working by using Support tab or https://github.com/extesy/hoverzoom/issues page.

up until a few months ago, it worked well with everything. now it's not working on pinterest at all.

This app worked great up until about 3 moths ago. Now it works about 60% of the time. When it works I love it. When it doesn't It's VERY frustrating. It doesn't matter what site I'm on. It can work 1 min. and not the next. If this issue is fixed I'd gladly give it 5 stars. Right now I give it a generous 3 stars.

Does not work at all.
doesnt do anything. ive been using Imagus since day one never had a problem, just wanted to see why this one has 4 stars. still confused after trying it with zero results.padding the stats with bots maybe? dont know, dont care. Imagus still the best so far

Nice tool!!
Such a great tool, especially for a person like me that has trouble with their eye sight. Works perfectly and is easy to use. Only downside is it doesn't seem to work on Pinterest, if it wasn't for that then i'd give this extension 5*.
