iCloud Passwords lets you securely fill passwords from iCloud Keychain when signing in to websites using Chrome. Any new passwords you create in Chrome are saved to your iCloud Keychain so that they are also available across your Apple devices. The extension can also generate verification codes, which you can set up by right-clicking on a QR code.

The iCloud Passwords extension is compatible with macOS Sonoma or later, and Windows versions supported by the iCloud for Windows app. To enable the extension on a PC, download the iCloud for Windows app from the Microsoft Store and enable iCloud Passwords.

Used to work but since the last major iCloud upgrade for Windows, whenever I click on the extension's icon, it asks me to open iCloud for Windows, I do so and nothing. Everything is synced, nothing changed since the time it was working, except the iCloud update.... eh well

While at first this seemed to work perfectly, after a couple of times it's just completely ceased to work. Continuously asks me to log back in but doesn't show any information except just boxes for the verification code (which isn't being sent)

Thanks for this apple. Safari is not the best browser! allowing users to use Chrome is very good. you can even think about launching Safari on top of Chromium, similar to what Microsoft did with Edge.

It kinda works, when it wants. On a hungarian keyboard you can't type 0, which means that you have to keep trying until you get a verification code that doesn't contain a 0. Also, the option to authorize the use of the extension with TouchID would be a huge plus.

Apple passwords for Windows brings a touch of Apple's security to your Chrome browser with Seamless 2FA handling. Hoping for Windows Hello integration? Soon, we hope. It's a lifesaver for iOS users on Windows

follow-up to the first review: works fine in pure chrome, asking for the 6 digit verification code which pops up your mac in order be able to use it. I managed to fix it also in arc browser by accidentally opening the extensions settings (cmd+t, type icloud passwords, enter), then it asks for the 6 digit verification code and you're good to go. ------ unusable in arc browser, it just gets me to a page where it asks for a 6 digit code, but without any hint or text whatsoever. just 6 boxes to fill and if I try to my iphone code (just a guess) it doesn't do anything.

Actually works really well on a Windows 11 laptop. I also use a Chromebook, and so it's a shame that it doesn't work on that platform otherwise it'd rate 5/5
