So helpful!! If you work in more than one org at a time this will have a great impact on your productivity.
I really appreciate being able to see that I am in a different instance by color. I just realized that you can click on the color it auto-assigns so you can change it to be something further away from other instances in case you work in 4 or 5 like I do. This solves a huge problem for me and am so grateful someone on my team showed this to me.
I've been using this extension since shortly after it was released, and it's a great example of a tool that identifies a problem (getting your tabs mixed up when you multiple orgs open at once), provides a solution, and does it well. It may not have dozens of features or tons of bells and whistles, but it doesn't need them because it doesn't what it needs to do. Despite its simplicity, it is one of the top 3 or so extensions that I really rely on and would miss if it went away. Pre-Google Sync days, I kept a list of extensions to reinstall whenever I got a new laptop, and this was at the very top of the list. It's still at the top of the list when I supply a list of recommended extensions to new devs.
So simple and so useful! Thanks to the devs!
Overall great little extension. The only reason I'm doing 4 stars, instead of 5, is the apparent lack of cross machine syncing. I have 4 different machines that I could potentially be working from at any given time and add/remove instances regularly (consultant). It would be amazing if there was a way for these to sync cross browser. I use Brave Browser everywhere, but when I go install this extension, it's completely empty on each new machine and I have to re-setup all current environments. Overall, great tool and I'm now annoyed when I'm on a machine that doesn't have it :)
The color of the Org icon briefly appears in the specified color and then changes back to the default Org color. How can I fix this? This started happening at some point.
Awesome tool that really helps me everyday! (making sure I don't mess around in the wrong Salesforce org 😉) It even supports the new "salesforce-setup.com" domain.
The extension functions as anticipated, but it has a frustrating flaw: settings and configurations fail to apply when reinstalling the browser or profile, likely due to a lack of integration with the Microsoft Edge sync process. In contrast, other extensions, such as "Org Header for Salesforce," restore seamlessly. Should the developer resolve this issue, I would gladly rate it five stars.
Works like a charm
