When you pause a YouTube video, the player controls don't disappear. That makes it really hard to take a clean screenshot of the video. The controls also block your view, which can get really annoying. Hyde is a simple Chrome extension that allows you to hide or show the video player controls easily.
⭐ Simply use the keyboard shortcut Ctrl+M to hide the controls or show them again. ⭐

i am not able to use in embed mode
Exactly what I needed for school
Por el momento funciona, esta bueno
Yep! Does exactly what the description says, super useful for recording and screenshotting. Thank you!
Useful extension
does exactly as it says. shame it has to be a keybind though, would have no clue what it is if it wasn't listed here, and i'll likely forget it soon. perhaps you could make a button on the play bar? i know some extensions do it. you could add the button there and have the escape key bring it back
doesn't hide the time bar
Works great, thanks!
still kinda works but the time bar now starts showing up.
used to work but now the bar still shows up hope it gets fixes soon
