It keeps failing and giving the error: Download interrupted. Please try again.
It doesn't work out of the box on Chrome for Windows. You have to first remove the extension, close Chrome, re-lauch Chrome with righ click "run as administrator" and then install the extension. If you run the extension after doing the above it should let you write the image to the USB. Good luck.
na een tijdje worstelen en schelden uit eindelijk wel gelukt handig zoon recovery maar dat gezeik heb je volgens mij niet met windows
This utility just crashes all windows and tabs in Chrome when you try to use it. This has been an issue for months now. Been waiting for this to be resolved before posting a negative rating, but this has not been fixed for months. The old utility worked great, this utility does not even kind of work.
crashes every single time at the very end of downloading. I'm mad I even need this in the first place, maybe chromebook should try making laptops that don't shut down for no reason
Não executa e simplesmente fecha.
Using Chrome it would crash the entire browser during each attempt. - Tried "Run as Administrator" when launching Chrome (as suggested below) - didn't work. - Tried using the Brave browser (as suggested below) - didn't work. - Tried Brave Browser AND right click "Run as Administrator" - and that finally worked!
Will NOT work on Chrome in Windows 10. And there are massive threads addressing the issue for MONTHS without being fixed. The only solution is to hope you have another working Chromebook to build the USB on; which might be feasible if you're running a tech shop, but not if you're a standard user. https://support.google.com/chromebook/thread/137860823/chromebook-recovery-utility-crashes-when-prompted-for-admin-credentials?hl=en
